So we get to babysit a mini camcorder courtesy of the business school to film our final project presentation tomorrow. Testing it out I managed to catch a lovely minute and a half of Rian (my brand new friend this year, off of management course).

the state of today

Not to boast but I'm having an absolutely glorious day. I think people should be able to declare when they're having such a spiffing day anyway without it being a boast. I didn't quite make it into town to do some reading and flopped on Jesus Green for a snooze after my late lie-in. Look at the state of the sky and the weather. Absolutely ridiculous. It's tough waiting for your friends to finish their exams. (In real life it's actually pretty lonely PLEASE FINISH QUICK). I peeled myself off the green after a while and I've wondered into town to do some reading on music festivals for my class project. I can probably only manage a solid 30mins of that before the coffee shop closes and I return home to do more of nothing and then bumble along to a beer festival on the green tonight for some 'research'. You won't be envying me in 2 weeks time, it'll be project hand-in and stress levels will be back up at their usual acceptable level for Cambridge. But for now it's nice to take it easy while we wait for our project data to trickle in. Trickle. I need a wee now.
